Statistical Consulting with us

We encourage you to schedule an initial meeting early in your research when we can best help you with study design, statistical analysis plans, and interpretation of your results. Our consultants can provide assistance in the following areas:
  • study design and power analysis for experiments, surveys and observational studies
  • choice of statistical methods and their proper application
  • interpretation of results, including their limitations
  • grant preparation and the preparation and review of manuscripts
We are especially interested in long term collaborations to advance research at UC Irvine and to help support the efforts of  our center. As collaborators we can then be particularly helpful at aligning statistical plans with the objectives and specific aims of your research.  This can often lead to the development of new statistical methodologies and innovative approaches to your scientific problem.
